‘Tis the Season

‘Tis the Season when our hearts turn to the giving of gifts to others.

Many will shop online this year, while others will still shop in stores (and hopefully locally), with social distancing and wearing masks to respect the guidelines we have been given to try and stop the spread of COVID. Many folks find joy in handmade gifts for family and friends. Still, others will forego gifts or choose to spend less on family and friends – and instead use their Christmas savings to help feed others less fortunate, and who cannot afford Christmas for their family.

Regardless of how you choose to give this Christmas, love is the basic ingredient for all of our giving.

I read someplace that love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others. This season, let’s show our love through our actions, making sure that we let friends and family know they are not alone…that we will be there for them.
